Harwin Asia has announced the launch of its DuoNex series, a new range of 2.00 mm pitch board-to-board connectors, available from July 2026. The series introduces a self-mating integrated male/female design that allows two identical connectors to mate directly with one another, reducing part count and simplifying board-to-board assembly.
Engineered for connections where boards may not sit in perfect alignment, DuoNex connectors accommodate up to ±3° of transverse and ±4° of longitudinal angular tolerance. This built-in compliance eases assembly and helps maintain reliable contact across a range of mounting conditions.
The series is rated at 3.2 A per contact and operates across a temperature range of −55°C to +125°C, suiting it to demanding industrial and embedded applications. Connectors carry a 500 V AC/DC withstand voltage, 20 mΩ maximum contact resistance, and 1000 MΩ minimum insulation resistance.
